Stacy and I go way back. We have a crazy history and you wouldn't have thought that we would have ended up as such great friends, but that's exactly what happened. Partly because she makes it hard to not appreciate her self-deprecating sense of humor and also because I just love people who are who they are and make no apologies for it. She's a terrific mom, a wonderful daughter, sister, friend and is about to get married to an equally wonderful man, Joe.

They both have had their ups and downs in the past, but are moving forward and leaving all that mess behind them with two beautiful daughters to raise. I have a special place in my heart for people my age who become step parents. It's not the easiest of jobs, you never seem to quite know your place, but anyone in my book who takes that on, must surely love the person who they are marrying. Joe is a manly man (haha) who will take care of Stacy and her girls and I truly couldn't be happier that they stumbled upon one another.

There's no other place I would rather be on October 28th than to see these two get married. It's rare when you know it'll be forever and for them . . . it will be.
